2/15/24 – Annoying Trigger Leads

After we do a hard pull credit report. Many of our clients get harassed by other mortgage and insurance companies wanting their business, and sometimes buyers can get up to 20 calls after that hard credit inquiry! These calls and texts annoy and frustrate a potential buyer, but it is not the lender’s fault! The credit agencies Equifax, TransUnion, and Experian sell the data to make a few more bucks!

 

There are a couple of things we can do to stop Trigger Leads, and the first one is to copy and sign the petition below and then let your database know that they should do the same! Nice reason to contact your peeps, and here is that link below:

While we wait for our complaint to hit the ballot, if it ever does, they can opt out of getting harassed by Trigger leads by going to https://www.optoutprescreen.com/. Going there will take them about 3 minutes or less and will stop calls and emails. Trigger leads are such an obvious nuisance to our clients, and it will be interesting to see how the credit agencies will spin it when it gets on the ballot.

 

I updated the condo list from what I could find on Fannie’s naughty list for the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys! Fannies list is now due to the condo falling in Florida and it is forcing condo projects to stay up on maintenance, or lose the ability to get financing!

 

Condo / Townhome issues we know of now. Properties can be financed with 10% down and are considered NON-WARRANTABLE:
